McInnis Solar Shade Versus Window Tint Material Applied to the Glass
If you consider window tint material applied directly to the glass! Window tint material becomes cloudy in time as a fungus develops between the film and the glass. You also get much lower insulation and visibility benefits when applied to the glass in lieu of a McInnis Solar Shade.

McInnis Solar Shades are Tri-Layer Laminates
3 Layers - Outer layers (2) are a special Melix polyester that is fully dyed impregnated throughout and laminated in the center is metal heat reflective sheet.

Competitor

• Usually only 1 layer thick (not 3) and the dye is sprayed on the exterior. McInnis Solar Shades are 3 laminated layers and the dye is fully impregnated into the material.
• Usually their material becomes very brittle, cloudy and unable to see through.
